Alternator

I have a 140 amp alternator that I used on my '86 Blazer, and I was wondering if it would work on my '96 camaro. Obvously, my Blazer had V belts and the Camaro has serpentine, but everything else looks similar. Can I just change the pulleys and be ok? Also, how much amperage does the average camaro alternator output, so I was wondering if it would even be worth it. Thanks.

The earlier LT1's came with 120 amps and the later ones including yours should have the 140 amp, so no point in changing
