alternator clearance with new valve covers

alternator clearance with new valve covers
I have some Moroso polished valve covers and I have the passenger side on but the alternator is hitting, these covers came off an LT1 with stock alt location and I have seen other LT1s with these type covers so whats the trick to getting them to clear?
It looks like the alternator housing needs grinding to clear and thats my plan but if anyone has a trick or two I don,t know about that would be great.
Thanks

Re: alternator clearance with new valve covers
They are in.
Just letting everyone know I had to grind a bit more than just that nub.
I had to clearance the housing on the lower portion as well to get my alt to line back up.
This seems to be a worst case scenario with these covers that I have but just letting everyone know.
Thanks for the help.
