cleared codes and drove around for a while. I am still getting codes, 26, 27, and 36. I checked the link you gave me and you are correct about the code 26 QDM #1 fault being for 93 lt1s only. any ideas as to why my pcm might be tripping this code?

26 is EVAP solenoid, 27 is EGR solenoid. Both have the same #6 10 amp fuse underhood in common BUT if it was blown, the O2s would throw a code and the fans would NOT work. So are both the EVAP and EGR solenoids connected?

36 is opti hi res. Check all the connections between the opti and the PCM.

Just changed out opti and installed hotcam, I no longer have code 36. I still have code 26 and 27 though. My scan tool is getting a reading from the o2's and when the car warmed up a little the fans kicked on. Also the Check engine light kicked on within 10 seconds of start up. What to diagnose now?

The two codes set based on the continuity of the electrical circuits. Either the solenoids are toast or the wiring is bad. Pull the harness connector off each solenoid, and check the resistance of the solenoid.

both solenoids had bout 54ohms of resistance when I tested them. I'm going to check out the wires tomorrow and what I can find.
