Another Take on Why my Car starts Running Bad
Yesterday I pulled 3 plugs which were pretty much soaked in fuel. Seems like I'm running a little toooo rich. Guess my mailorder tune isn't all that great or something is wrong somewhere. The plug on the right was in for about 5 months after my header install and the one on the left has been in since I finished my heads/cam project (car probably hasn't ran 2 hours total with that plug).
So I replaced 3 of the plugs with the old ones from the header install and it idled a lot better. I'm wondering that from running long periods of time (10-15 minutes) could cause the plugs to get so bad that the car starts missing and jumping around on the tach. And not being able to restart afterwards because of soaked spark plugs. Then being able to start long afterwards because they've dryed off? Does this make any sense at all?
