WOndering what kinda power you guys made with the 292 xfi cam. I have one in the car now, and still haven't gotten it tuned due to technical difficulties. My engine has about 400 miles on it and i'm pulling it back out to put afr 227s and a super victor on it and i am highly considering changing to a solid roller. Reason being when i built the engine it was daily driven now its not.
I work at Revolutionary Performance and machine in mt juliet tn. we did an article in popular hot rodding http://www.popularhotrodding.com/tec...ams/index.html .. i'm the guy in the picture with the fedex guy ... thats my engine and my car... lol anyway i know what power it made on that engine. What have you guys gotten out of it?

Yes, I've read that article several times - re-reading helps things sink into my ageing brain, LOL.
Have you had a chance to check what GM High Tech Performance got out of the 467 on a 383? It's on their site in the LT1 head shoot out article. It's interesting, too, on how the Edelbrock heads compared with the others.
BTW, you're about guaranteed to pick up power with a SR if you remember to factor in how the lash effects the duration choice.

Feel free to stop by the pcm & tuning section if you're having tuning problems. Most of us use tunercat in there though but we can still look over your files and offer experience if you are willing to do some work.
