Anybody make a 1 7/8" Header Besides Hedman?

Does anybody make a 1 7/8" header or 1 3/4" stepped to 1 7/8" header for 93-97 F-Bodies?

I know Hedman does, but it requires heater box removal/modification.

Are there any other options? Does Kooks sell a good LT1 Header?

What kind of system are you running that you need primaries that big?

You will loose low end torque because of it.

Nice!!!

http://www.jet-hot.com/pages/Precoats/Camaro.htm

Go to that link. It's jet-Hot's offering of coated headers. You might find what you need there. I see quite a few 1 7/8" headers on that page, but they might be for the wrong size engine.

I think Dynatech makes a 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 stepped version for our LT1's.

I thought Dynatech did as well at one time...however right now all I can find on their website is for LS1 F-Bodies.

Yes cause I remember Jegs having them for sale, but in the new catalog they only have the LS1 version. Good luck finding them, maybe call Jegs or Dynatech and see if they have some left over in stock?

Dave, I am in the same boat as you with a solid roller 383, needing either some step headers or 1 7/8 stuff and wanting to run A/C on the car. Looking like a custom set huh? I heard that
1 7/8 Hedmans will not clear the A/C box. I saw some Super Stock EFI cars at No Problem raceway with the 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 step header on them, but cannot remember if they had a/c boxes in them. I will keep looking as well.
