Anybody running the Comp XE 224/230 cam with a 114 LS?

Going to step up this year from the tiny CC304 (210/220, .500/.510, 114LS) to the XE 224/230.

Was originally looking at the cc305, which is on a 114 ls, but the XE grind has less advertised duration while having same/greater duration at .050 lift, meaning it has more aggressive lobe ramps which should help cylinder filling and should be more efficient.

Just wondering if anybody has this cam custom ground on a 114 LS and your impressions of it. I'll have to run the specs through Desktop dyno to check, but I'm thinking with less advertised duration the XE grind probably has less overlap than the cc305 despite having a smaller lobe sep.

XE 503 has 54 degrees of overlap according to desktop dyno while the CC305 has 55 degrees despite having a wider LSA. The XE should therefore be just as streetable if not more even with the smaller LSA, just due to the lobe design.

So I sorta answered my own questions, but I'd still like to hear from you XE grind owners.

I just put one in. No dyno numbers. Going to be hard for me to quantify gains since I don't have any race numbers to compare either. Still have stock heads and exhaust manifolds. I wanted to stay somewhat mild because it is daily driven and I do need some gas mileage out of it.
I can tell that power is up, just how much, I don't know. Springs and 1.6 Pro Mags were added a couple of weeks before.
I have a K&N FIPK and SLP 2OTL to open up both ends.
Sorting out programming to make it more comfortable for regular driving. My hardware came from Combination Motorsports.

dont mind what desktop dyno says about overlap just do the math if you know the lobe specs.

overlap = ((adv int. + adv exh)/2) - (lsa * 2)

only thing to watch for is sometimes comp will fudge on their adv durations once in awhile. and DD likes lazy *** ramps so... just do the math according to comp. only software i trust to do lobe numbers for me is cam doctor.
