Anybody running a 10.5W on their tire with out any inside trimming? What did you have to do to make them fit? I am running a True Drag 28X10.5 on a 15X10 rim with 7 1/2 backspacing right now with no problem.

I have a friend running a 28 inch slick on his 94 t/a, and he had to do some trimming to get them where they wouldn't rub. I think they are about 10.5 or 11 inches wide. But that is a t/a, and I'm not for sure about camaros.

I will be running one this coming year. This is what I did:
-beat the crap out of the inner fenderwell by the bump stop(12 o'clock) and at about 10 o'clock
-cut rear inner bumper flap(Dremel & cut-off wheel took about 5 minutes)
-got adjustable LCAs to move the rear wheel about 1/2" back
-removed bump stop
-rolled the fender lip
I had grind/beat/cut, then fit, then grind/beat/cut some more. I think chevyguy3 and Jeff Bromberger ran 10.5Ws too. I still may have to do some more work to the outer fender before it's all said and done. I haven't had a chance to test tire growth.
This is a picture Jeff sent me last year comparing the two tires:

Here's a good link too:

Click on "Trailer Queen....." link below for a pic - Weld Pro-Star 15x10, 7.5" BS, M/T ET Drag 28 x 10.5 15W.
My rear wheel wells had already been hammered for 17x11's with 315 DR's. Then I ran 28x11.5-15 QTP's. They required no additional hammering or cutting, but I did move the rear axle back about 1/4" to prevent the QTP's from "growing" into the front/sheet metal part of the wheel opening at trap speeds over 120MPH.
Then I replaced the QTP's with the ET Drag "W", and it was a major problem... not with the width, but with the diameter. The QTP was 28.0" and the ET Drag was supposed to be 28.1". But when I went to mount the "W" it had to be at least 1/2" larger than the QTP. So now the axle is about 1/2" behind stock location, and I had to cut about 1-1/2" off the leading edge of the rubber bumper cover, and hammer down the sheet metal behind that edge of the bumper cover.
I did switch to tubes with the "W", so that might have contributed to the diameter issue??? And so far I have only run N/A, so no trap speeds over 120 to see if "growth" continues to be a problem.
