anyone have a hooker aerochamber muffler?
#32
i love my hooker!!!!
I put the hooker cat back system on from thunder racing in March of last year and my car sounds the same now as when I first installed it (6000 miles approximately). Good balance of muffling and good sound when accelerating.
Backorders show their popularity. Local muffler shop tried to talk me out of cat back system saying it was a waste (and to buy his magnaflow), but I like the larger diameter mandrell bent tubing.
Easy install as well. The chrome tips are not top quality, but the kit was a good price.

Re: anyone have a hooker aerochamber muffler?
I've had hooker aerochambers on two of my Fbodies and loved them.
Deep smooth tone, no rasp. (All of my cars ran stock or high-flow cats)
I had a flowmaster on my 95 and hated it, (switched to hooker 3" in 3" out)
I had a dynomax on my 92 (came that way) and ended up switching to hooker 3"/3" as well.
The 93 has a flowmaster on it (previous owner) and it's being swapped for an aerochamber 3"/2x2.5" next week
(or as soon as Thunderracing gets it to me)
I'm also going with a cutout this time around
