Shoebox, ive been using your site, but there are a few plugs on the 96 harness that are not on the 95. Just wondered if anyone had the same kind of pic for a 96-97 A4 harness. Thanks.

The only difference is the additional connectors for two rear O2 sensors, the crank position sensor and the EVAP vacuum switch and the coil has a different connector. That's about all I can think of.

ok, Can you help me with this?? This plug was cut. Looks like a black wire and purple wire. They are a thicker gauge also. Thicker than most of the sensor wires. we cant figure out what it goes to, and why a rear O2 sensor would be so close to the knock module.

Yea I cant get it any clearer cuz im laying under the car taking the pic and thats as far away from it i can get. I have the car jacked up about 2.5 feet. Ill try again tonight when I get home. The pic you refrenced showed an o2 sensor , I have all 4 of those. so it cant be that. my Knock sensor is plugged in. How many wires go to the starter? I know that i have one. Im wondering if its the PCM ground and ingintion starter Solenoid leads?

This pic is bigger but its still blurry..

The purple wire and the positive battery cable are the only two wires that go to the starter.

The square connector is what a rear O2 would use.

I got a clearer pic lastnight and I think ur right. The purple has to be the starter ignition lead and the black is the pcm ground. I was just thrown off because the rear O2 sensor was so close, I figured it would have been farther back.

I need a picture of that entire harness (1996 Camaro z28 V8 LT1 A4 Engine harness) with where the plugs go because i have a couple things missing off of my harness but are not triggering any codes. I also need to know where ground wires on the Coil Stud Post go to. Where do i buy a new harness if i needed to.
