You might be one of the 1st to have a set on an LT1 in a running car if you hurry.
Right now there is a set on an LT1 in a running F-body in Tennessee but the car is set up for a blower and the blower still needs to be installed. No track times or street feel info yet.

i took her out to the track today only ran it on motor
i was having some tranny issues it would bounce the rev on the 2->3 shift
but i still managed an 11.749 @113.6mph that was cutting a 1.59 60ft

not too bad considering the issues i was having and the fact that these are AS CAST dart heads ports were NOT cleaned up in any way just bolted on out of the box
over all im extremely happy even more so when i hit it with the spray LOL

I wouldn't spray it. I would pull em off and get them ported.

IMO not impressive...could do the same with cam and stock heads, hate to **** on your parade but 113 is nothing.

Get them ported and shoot for 120+ and high 10's.

the 1.59 is nice though

Good et for the first time out. What was the DA, and as mentioned in the other post, your race weight?

hey im not complaining at all given that it was a 80 degree day and the tranny issues i was having i figure in good air without 2-3 issues its good for 115-116 mph traps and 11.3 - 11.4 on motor and with a little shot go tens
it will run right with an le2 car in both times and price except with an le2 car you dont have much more you can do with the heads where i can still pull em off next year and have em hogged out.

but either way im not trying to make excuses but just saying as a budget option this is a great one in my oppinion
while some people might get a half a second faster with a custom grind solid roller and cnc ported stock castings they are also spending an extra grand on a valve train that they have to spend a little extra time maintaining.
either way im happy which is all that counts
i know there is more in it and in the next month or so i will find alot of that so ill keep ya updated on progress
but i appreciate your oppinion even if yo do want me to spend an extra grand that i dont have

yeah i know the thing is i just went through it and every thing seemed ok
and any thing that didnt got replaced. replaced the low reverse input clutches
and tightend up the 3-4 pack to about .030
i might end up going with a turbo 350
but i love the first gear in the 4l60e
