He is a student right? Maybe it is finals time? Look at it this way even if it takes a few more days that is still a whole lot better than having to mail a pcm back and forth.

I did mail him mine last week and I was hoping to get it by this wednesday track day. If I don't get it, I don't race

I see, I forget about the whole OBd2 thing and those hassles sometimes, I have no emmisions testing where I live so I did the OBD1 swap when my car still HAD the L99(baby LT1 base engine in the 94-6 Caprice). I honestly would have done a lot less and would plan to do less if I had to deal with the OBD2 shipping and cost involved. Hopefully it shows up for you soon.

He told me on Monday he was going to send my PCM back to me.

Didn't get anything yet.

the mail might just be a little slow right now. he had mailed mine out before i could even tell him i wanted something extra done! and it still came a day or two later than I thought it would. I really doubt it's his fault it came a little late cause he's had some excellent customer service. With school and all, I have no idea how he does it. I barely have time to wash my car, let alone program other people's computers

I dont care if it is finals time, i just had finals myself. This is getting kind of rediculious. I sent payment on the 18th and havent gotten a single email back. Ive emailed him and PM'ed him multiple times. I hope there is a valid explination for all this. Finals is a very good excuse to delay working, but he can at least return emails.

Sorry to vent. I really dont like being left in the dark. Im sure it will work out.

Well as far as the mail going slow right now... i just bought 2 wiper arms from someone on this site. They hit the mail the 11th of this month with a tracking #, they didnt shop up till the 22nd. 11 days to go from VA to chicago, i think the mail system went back to using horses or something

I'm very, very sorry for the delay guys. We've had some power outages due to heavy rain and then our programming cable for the OBDI and modem got fried due to a power spike. Andrew @ akmcables.com can confirm this. I had to drive to a different location just to email him and place an order for a new cable. It's been a mess in other words.

Also, I know that all of the orders for the persons who have replied to this post have been shipped out last week. Some overnight, some Priority.... so if anyone still didn't get their package, the mail must be slower right now. I will track all the orders today and email you with the status on them.

Again, I apologize for the inconvinience and I will reply to all emails today, now that I have power and a net connection again.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.
