There are plenty of 96-97 SS's around if you look hard enough. What I ment was a joke because there were 104 LT4 SS's built and 29 LT4 Firehawks.

The LT4's are bad a**, they were rated at 330 horse, and they were a "true" LT4. They had the 4 bolt mains, special exhaust manifolds, etc... There was a guy around here selling a 30th ann. SS with 38,000 miles for $10,500. I tried my hardest, but the wifey wasn't going for it. So, I'm stuck with the '95 for now (like it's a bad thing?).

But was it an LT4 SS? Not all 30th ann. SS's had LT4s.

No, it was just a standard SS-at least that's what he had it advertised for. I am aware that only a few were LT4's, I believe that only 103-104 were made. I did see one once at a dealership in Independence Mo. It was perhaps the most beautiful thing that I have EVER seen

One of my wifes nursing friends told her she is selling her sons 97 SS. All I know right now is that it is white in color. I am going to go check it out because I think she is in a deperate rush to sell it. What year were the LT4's in? If I go there and pop the hood and see that red manifold; I am going to have to buy it on principle. I mean, it would be a crime not too.
