Anyone running a Pace Setter - X pipe - sweet thunder combo
Anyone have this setup or something similar to it? I love the sound that the x-pipe provides but I have enver heard sweet thunder's in person, just bullets. From the info i have searched for and found sweet thunders are far superior to a bullet muffler of the same length. I have even called Mike from sweet-thunder.com and talked to him about the sound of their mufflers used in custom exhaust setups, and the sound clips of them on an LS1 car over on ls1sounds.com sound awesome.
I know it might seem silly to do this much research on deciding on what mufflers i want, but I have had 2 different cat-backs that had good reviews on ebsites but I diddnt really like when i get them installed on my car. I also made the mistake of originally installing shorty headers, which may be a performance gain over stock manifolds, but they WILL NOT give you that long tube header growl at w.o.t.
