ATTN: Borla owners
Does anyone know the size of the piping for the Borla cat-back? I'm just wondering.
Does anyone else seem to think that the Borla is quite when at idle [this for a cat-back only car]? It might be because I have the plate that's right under the full open plate installed right now, but I think the car is a little quite at idle. It doesn't bother me, just taking notice of it.

Re: ATTN: Borla owners
I have hooker shorties, and I think it's just loud enough both at idle and upper rpms. It could be a bit louder now that my new gears whine a little. Just go to the widest plate if you want it louder, that's the best part about a borla...

3in. stainless all the way back. Before I did all the stuff to my car I thought it was quiet at idle, but as soon as you get on it the sound is really great. If you start modding the car tho, the sound definitely changes and it actually can be annoying if you exhaust isn't set up properly. Some people use Cats to take the rasp out while others use header cones or Bullet mufflers to quiet it down and make it more refined. HTH
