If anybody on here is going to know this you are. I'm going to change my plugs tonight and I want to ohm test my wires just for peace of mind . It's been a long time since I have done this so I have a couple of questions. On what ohm setting do you test on? What is the correct amount of resistance for the wires? These are taylor wires if that even makes a difference. Thanks for anybody's help.

Hi-pro wires run 600-1000 ohms per foot, new. Slightly more used.

To give you another example, stock-ish type wires are considered bad when resistance is over 30k ohms. Stock wires don't have such low resistance.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I think I was testing them correctly (meter on 2k) One of them has a high resistance in it and I found one under there that had popped off the loom holder on the front of the block and hit the header. Maybe finaly my miss will be gone. Thanks for the help

Since I am in it this far again, how do you check the coil on a 93Z28 to make sure it is ok? Thanks for your help.

I can tell you this much - on my stock coil, the resistance between the secondary coil wire terminal and any of the four primary terminals is just a little less than 8k ohms.
