Holds it in gear a little longer and firms up the shift. Z28 dont have the buttom because its in performance mode all the time.

Increases the line pressure to the tranmission, increasing shiftfirmness.Z28'sDO NOT have it on all the time, but you can wire aswitch into the ECM as it is already programmed to have that as an option with the firebirds.

I wired mine up in my 95 Z28 convertible. When I got my car tuned they left the factory mode and edited the "performance" mode I added with the button. My favorite mod to date. That 15 minute mod is worth doing especially if you are getting your car tuned profesionally!!

took me about 30 mins to do mine and worth every second. big difference from the stock to the performance. big time head snap when it shifts gears.

You think your head snaps now, get it tuned and see what happens!! BIG BIG difference. It's awesome! They can edit both modes. I had the "performance" mode severly edited to hold the gear longer and shift harder etc.... WOW!!

I got mine custom dyno tuned at Agostino Racing Engines. It ran me $300 and worth every cent!! I would still recommend getting a TransGo shift kit. I need to pick me up one too. Best thing for our tranny.

How much does this button do Et wise? And i heard on this forum that a trans go shift kit did realitvely nothing for ET's or adding car performance.

It's not really an e.t. enhancer. It's design is more for part throttle performance and feel.
