Autozone Opti
Most of you probably already know this, but DON'T buy an AZ opti...
I picked up my car from my mechanic, running great, new AZ opti installed.
Drove it seven miles up the road to the gas station. I left it running as I pumped gas, just to hear it (its been down three months). All of a sudden revved to around 1200 and cut off.Wouldnt restart. I called the mechanic, he came and picked up the car on his rollback. Scanned it, and there it was--Low Resolution Pulse Failure--the opti he just installed.
So I've learned my lesson. No more trying to do it on the cheap. I'll buy the more expensive part from the dealer.

Re: Autozone Opti
Allmost ALL AZ parts are reman. Not always a bad thing. But on optis it it horrible. They clean it up and slap it back together and sell it. Lifetime guarantee... maybe. I put 4 on before finally demanding my money back (they obliged) and ordering a GM one. Never more than about 300 miles before they crapped out, always the sensor side, never the cap/rotor.
