Bad Misfire!

Ok so last friday night, i took the car out, with a buddy and went out to a empty road, turned on the bottle and let her rip.......everything went fine, about 5r minutes later i hear a small thumping almost like i had a flat tire, it was not overly loud, but soon turned to violent engine shaking due to a misfire and a flashing service engine soon light......then the engine smoothed out, then got voilent, this repeated until i got into my neighborood and then i barely limped it into the garage.

any ideas where to start?

I would get the car scanned, that may give you some hints on where to start.

could be something such as fouled plugs, burnt plug wires, cap and rotor going out, bad o2 sensors, it just depends, def. get your car scanned or give more info

Pull each spark plug and give em a look. Take the oil filter off and cut it open. If anything is wrong you should see it.
