I was wondering what some simtoms of a bad opti are. My car seems sluggish on low(idle-1800) and top end speed. Car just feels pretty weak. Is this a sign, or could it be wires?

does it miss or hesitate? If it doesnt try replacing your fuel filter. My car was feeling sluggish on top end until i replaced it. Also try cleaning your injectors or injector cleaner. What is the running temperature? It should be at the second mark on the guage, or somewhere near it. This should get you started for now. Good luck!

Replaced the fuel filter about 2k ago,have not had the injectors cleaned in awhile.I have a 160deg. powerstat. I have hefd good and bad on that, I herd that these cars need some heat and to go with 180.

yeah, i need to know this as well...

i have no misfires, but they're telling me at 90K miles, i might need a new opti soon... car doesnt hesitate or anything, she just gets up and goes....

but my mph is slow on the track (94) so i was wondering if low mph is a symptom?
