Bad Vibration when i turn???

I have had this problem for a long time but it seems like its getting worse. When i'm stopped or barely moving and i go the car vibrates very bad. It feels like the tranny is moving up and down A LOT. Its not the tranny mount because i put a new Poly mount on there. It does't do it all the time but it does it quite often. It also does this if the clutch is fully engaged and i'm turning(usually turning right). It has been doing it lately going straight also. I'm thinking this is my posi going out on me. What do you think this could be?

One other thing i should mention is that both times when i installed my clutch i had to use the bolts to pull the tranny and the bellhousing together. It was about 1/4 inch away. I used the clutch alignment tool and checked it about 4 times and everything was aligned. The 2 tabs on the side of the tranny wouldn't go into the 2 holes thats why it wasn't going in. Do you think this could be my problem? Do you think that maybe my input shaft is not aligned, and that when i turn is moves further out of alignment?

If your Clutch was off alignment I'm guessing you'd be expiereincing more problems durring shifting than anything else.

If I were you I'd pull the drive shaft out and insepect it.

I had kind of the same problems with Vibrations durring turning and accelerating...especially"When turning" to the right as well...but it turned out it was caused by my Driveshaft....it was hitting up angainst the Borla exhaust pipe.

id check the drive shaft too.

Another thing you might want to check is the alignment, check tire wear. If you had a chamfer on the right side it could vibrate.

Also check the motor mounts, Ive seen some nasty vibrations from that; not turning though...

Well my tires are brand new. Also i'm gonna replace my driveshaft with a 1le very soon because i'm sure its messed up because at high speed of 85+ the car vibrates really really bad. But it is a different type of vibration. The vibration i'm talking about here is more of a loud knocking type of noise. The whole car shakes. It feels like its coming from the tranny but it could be the rear shaking causeing the tranny to shake. Thanks for the replies. Any other suggestions?
