Basic ?'s inside

Well my car was for sale but it looks like the market isn't going so hot so I think I'm going to keep her

Well I'm running a solid lift cam now and thinking about changing it to a LE4 hydro style cam. If/when I do this will I need to change my rockers? I think my springs will be fine. The cam i have in it now is .595 and the LE4 i'm looking at is .610. Unless you guys think otherwise?

As for a tune, would the tuner cat work w/ changing cam specs? What does it do? Cuz I have no idea what it is or how it works. lol Or should I just do a mail order tune from Ed Wright?

while the engine is out I thought about buying ARP head bolts. I found a used set that has been torqed twice. Does it matter how many time's they've been torqed? Also will I have problems w/ them hitting my header flanges?(I know that sounds weird but I ran hedman headers on my BB vette and they wouldn't fit w/ my arp head bolts so i had to notch them a bit.)

Thank you

Andrew

Rockers are fine.

Springs will not be fine. SR springs have way more pressure than HR cams need so you will need new springs.

Tunercat will work for an OBD1 PCM, but you will definitely have to tweak fuel/timing for your new combination. Mail order might be a good idea to get you in the ballpark and then you can fine tune it yourself.

ARP bolts are fine to use even if used. If you want you can check to make sure they still stretch the same under load. Shouldn't have any problems with them hitting your header flanges, never heard that before.

Yeah lifters are different, but he didn't mention it, so I thought he already knew that.

Ya I knew the lifters are different I just don't know what kind to run just yet.

Do you guys know what kind of HP numbers LE4 cams make? I thought about buying one, but the one i'm looking at the lift looks pretty small but running a 106 ls. So idk what to do. lol What exactly does the lobe seperation do? I know it makes it sound cool but what other than that? lol
