Why does it not say it in the specs on their page?

^Very good question. The ratings that PAC has on there web page are what I went by. What the actual coil bind is for a specific spring may vary but I'd rather go by the manufacturers specs.

Welp an update is that I have the new 614-16 locks in and I measured and they set me up beautifully at a 1.775" installed height and I still have plenty of rocker arm clearance with the Comp Pro Mag rockers. I will say that it would have been a nice tip to know to start the valve stem seal on before using the tool. I kinda shredded the first one I tried to install. I will say that the most tedious process that takes the longest is just getting everything set up to the correct specs and waiting on parts. Now that I have everything set up good to go it's just a matter of putting the time in. One cylinder is down seven more to go.

Thanks to you all for your help in getting these springs set up correctly!

PAC is a little inconistant in their coil-bind ratings on their website (for the 1518/1218 they show both 1.096 and 1.140, and then there is the original comp spec of 1.086) I called and clarified with them during my spring install -- the 1.086 rating is the spring's true coild bind height, and the 1.14 rating figures in a mimimum clearance of 0.054 to coil bind.

Then you need to shim.
Did you check every spring?
