bending pushrods

Why would almost every one of my pushrods bend or snap when I switched to 987-16 comp springs? Is it the addition of the 1.6 roller rockers? Is that what threw my geometry off?? Do I have to switch back to 1.5's in order not to have to buy longer pushrods?

Learn to lash your rockers and you wont have a problem Looks like you had them way too tight

I also used the 10 degree locks, is that what I should have? Only asking due to looking at the tip of the valve stem and seeing it as smaller then usual; or I'm seeing things. So people use 987-16 springs with stock pushrods and do not bend or break a pushrod?

P.S. Been adjusting valves since I was 12
