CC Pro Mags, NSA with guideplates. I've seen the tabs break off or fall off on too many SA rockers.

+1. Running NSA Pro Mags as well. They will sound like a sewing machine under the hood though.

Read the times in my sig, yes...............the car gets the DOG WEE beat out of it, lol. I drive it 32 miles one way to work on the highway. And often run into a little action on the highway.

If your just doing a little street light action and daily driving, I dont see the reason to install guide plates, install hardened pushrods, etc. Throw on a set of self aligners and call it good. When i did mine i also installed LT4 valve springs (around $50) The stock valve springs with some miles on them wont handle the approx extra .030 valve lift imho. Hope this helps Eric L

Best? probably T&D (since you didn't specify shaft or stud).

If I were going to pick "best" stud rocker... it would be a Crower or Comp Hi-Tech Stainless over the 8640 Pro-mags.

Do you think aluminum Scorpions are quieter than Promags?

I've ran Crane Gold RR's, and I'm currently running Pro Mag's. Cranes are quieter.

Yes, aluminum will dampen NVH better than steel.
