Best bolts ons for a 93 Z28

Re: Best bolts ons for a 93 Z28
Based on the previous thread you posted, the car already has:
See questions posted in the other thread regarding the cam specs and rocker arm ratio. Also need to know if it has been tuned for the cam.
The most common upgrades would be a cold air intake, throttle body coolant bypass, upgraded exhaust consisiting of long tube headers, with either a 3" mandrel bent catback or true dual exhaust. Add 1.6X full roller rockers if you don't already have them. Depending on the cam, might be time for a 52mm throttle body. And if you don't know anything about the tune, a new chip with the correct tune.
Using the added HP/torque may require changes to the drivetrain, but you haven't told us what trans you are running - M6 or A4. You will also need suspension upgrades to successfully tranfer the torque to the pavement. What suspension mods you need will depend on how you plan to use the car - drag racing, Auto-X/road racing, or just a good street cruiser.
Another suggestion - add a "signature" with the basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans and any major modifications.
i just bought a 1993 z28 with a comp cam in it and an msd distributor, and what i believe to be a zex dry shot nitrous kit otherwise everything else is bone stock.
