What's the best cam for stock heads? I want to use the car as a DD and just have more torque/overall power.

Re: Best cam for stock heads

I've heard a lot of people using the cc503. But what kind of head work does that require? Or can get away with just replacing the springs and rockers?

CC465 is my pick, it keeps the RPMS down and it generates ALOT of torque oin which the stock heads were designed for. You have to change out the springs with any cam choice, and it wouldnt hurt to put roller rockers on it why you are there

AI 226/234. Hands down the best, IMO.

What's the best place to buy the CC465? Which springs and roller rockers should I get with it?

I got an Ed Curtis cam in mine and love it. Get a custom grind. You get exactly what you want and you barely pay more.

No head work, 26918 spring, 787-16 retainer, 648-16 locks and 1.6 rollers preferred. It's hard to beat the 503.
