Best hyd roller lifter for daily driver street/strip?
#18
The LS7 lifters and Cadillac race lifters both have the improved oiling setup.
The race lifters have ceramic internals for higher rpm stability above 7500rpm's.
BTW:
The race lifter is actually rated for higher rpms. The racing sanction that these motors were in LIMITED them to 8500.

Hi, and you must be the Elitest ***** who's gonna bash me for offering info... That's ok here's the answer to your question...
I don't want to lose you on this so follow closely:
I searched, I read... I came to the conclusion that these parts are approximately found at this price. I'm ceratin there are places to get them cheaper, or more expensive if you fancy the high price stuff.
What it comes down to is that my name isn't Alan Greenspan and I'm not setting the prices or interest rates on anything. Just thought I'd offer some info up.

if i were bashing you i would make fun of your "rolled" bearing or your twin turbo "headers" lulz. just in case thats over your head it would be a spun bearing and turbo manifolds
it was a joke relax
personally i think the ls seven lifters will be just as good as the caddys and much cheaper. but again i would expect to pay just a bit more than 200 for a new set that was only opened and not used
but then again i am not building a 4 digit motor so i am sure you have done more research than me

I have the Caddy LS7's in my LE2 setup they seem like a great piece car sees 6500-6600 RPM no problem. Defiantly will need a shorter pushrod, the cups are a lot shallower than the OEM lifters just something to keep in mind.

With the right springs, the hydra-rev kit will do nothing. I literally gave one away and it's been sitting of a shelf for four years.
