Angry Best place to WINCH a T/A From

Well my car managed to either slip out of gear or i left it in neutral and rolled backwards into a large ditch about 35 feet deap and prbably atleast a 60 degree angle steep. Tow truck is coming in the morning to hopefully tow it out with out doing to much more damage to it. Where is the best place to hook onto it when they winch it out. Probably will be hooking from the front end. Is it ok to winch it from a lower control Arm? Thats about all i can think of.

Any suggestions, could possibly get it turned around to tow it from the back if that would be better.

Car looks like it is in pretty rough shape, it went through some trees and bushes and finally smashed into a rock wall.

Just bought the car 2 weeks ago and it was mint, didnt even have any rattles in it when i would hit bumps, it was a very solid car.

Any suggestions?

I always hook it up around the lower A-arm or lower control arm or whatever you want to call it. I was almost in a ditch that bad and nothing broke on mine. It also depends on the tow truck guy.

There should be two holes in front axle beam, route the rope through them and you can winch it out without causing any more damage. I have used this method w. my Camaro.

Tow truck guy got it out. He looped the hooks through the holes on each frame rail. He had a 4 ton winch on his wrecker and he still had problems getting it out, but its out now and on its way to the body shop. i got a bunch of pics that i will try to get up soon.

Thanks for the replys
