BIG PROBLEM.... gass in oil and no start.. and no concert
#16
Didn't you say you were not getting any spark? I am getting sort of lost. Anyway, you replaced the coil and ignition module, right? I would check the coil wire with an Ohm meter. Should read near 0 resistance.

I pulled the intake on a simple gasket replacement project on my 94 LT1....... drained the coolant.... moved the exhaust pipe to get to the drain plug... while the intake was off i noticed some gass in my lifter vally and my number 1 and 3 ports on the head were full of gass. So i put it all back together after soaking up the gass. Now the car will not start back up. i even tryed a new coil because there is no spark... this did not fix the problem... i checked for loose plugs.. i found 2 and pluged them back in...one was the O2 sensor on the driver side and one was on the throtle possition sensor. STILL!!! NO START..... ok so i checked the oil.... funny it had more than a few extra quarts in it...so i decided to drain it..... the oil was the consistancy of water and smelled like gass.. and there was a whole lot of it....i put new oil in the car and NO START...this simple project has cost me over a week... and now i have to go to the airport in the morning and i have no way to get there... and if any of you care i missed the ALmand Brothers concert because of this
