i'm pretty sure a bolt on lt1 can hang or slightly edge out a stock c5(auto). i mean it will be close till the higher mph. last week my brother's bolt on z edged out a 2000 SS M6 w/ intake & exhaust by a 1/2 car length, but that guy cant drive the car too good. my bros got intake, gears, headers, cutout, pulleys, shift kit and goes consistent 13.2-13.3 on drag radials.
dont wanna hijack thread but ZRDR i saw your web site , saw your from penitas/mcallen, i live in palmview, never seen your car around town??

I have a video of me having my way with one at the track. Granted, I killed it off the tree, but we ended up running very near the same time and trap, I just came out of the hole a lot harder. Anything over about a standing 1/4 and I say good luck.

Well, that because for the last year my car has been in hibernation. Lifters went out and I replaced them just 3 weeks ago, but I transformin the car back to the stock look. I just 98-up taillights and I putting back the stock wing.
I am also waiting for my tuning equipment to arrive, so I can get this tune done for good. I have an overheating problem, I can not seem to trace down. Does it only on the highway, I am thinking I may have a craked head or something.
You may have seen our 96Z (hotcammed, all the bolt-ons) it was red, had ground effects, crome stock rims, and a cowl hood. That was has been prowling the streets, and it only loss was too this silver LS1 camaro with checkered flags on its side. Pretty nice. Everyone says that guy is supercharged or has nitrous.
Send me a PM.
