Brake help

I just got done puttting on some new rotors and when I was done I started the car. Well the brake light came on and has stayed on since. Can anyone help me figure out why the brake light in the dash came on. Normally i though it just came on when you had the parking break on but I guess not. Need help

Probably a mismatched pressure in the front and rear portions of the master cylinder due to the rotor change.

The "Brake" light also indicates when one system isn't working.

Did you change fronts only?

How much have you driven it since? After some stops, the light may go out. Try just pumping the brakes hard a few times with the engine running.

No ABS light?

Still thnking about it?

Um yea the abs light isn't on. It's the red light that says brake which i believe is the parking/ emergency brake light. I changed the rear rotors and not the front ones. Thats about all i can tell you. I had to push the caliper in the back ones in so they would fit over the rotor but thats all i can think of. Is there a line or something conecting the rear brakes to the emergency bake that i could have pull or something.
