Brake Light re-adjusting

Brake Light re-adjusting?
My brake light is on, and I'm pretty sure my emergency brake needs to be re-adjusted at the calipers. How hard is it to re-adjust the e-brake?

The procedure is not very common and likely won't put the brake lamp out. It should not be done unless new brakes have been installed. Have you done recent work on the brakes?

I took off the calipers to do a gear swap. When I put everything back together, the light was on. While putting one of the capipers back on, one of the pads came off, and I had place it back on. There's nothing else I can think of that I did.

Yeah, it's the brake light not the abs light. I'm pretty sure there are no leaks. My frined told me it's probably because he left one the calipper hanging for a bit, during the gear swap; and thinks, that might have caused the e brake line to tug a bit and cause the light to be on.

Not really, unless it leaked. It might have sensed a pressure differential. A hard press on the brake pedal will reset the brake lamp if that is the case and the differential does not still exist. Press down hard on the pedal until you hear/feel a click.
