Brief ticking on cold start

I have Comp Pro Mag roller rockers, etc. that I put on with my cam and heads install back in June. I was at my parents over Christmas, and it gets a lot colder there than here. In the morning when I started the car, it sounded like the rockers were loose for a couple seconds, then the sound went away. Is this normal for cold weather starts?

The temperatures were down in the teens. Here in LA, the coldest it ever gets is the 40s.

Yes, it takes a few seconds to get the oil up to the heads, especially if your using a heavier weight oil..as long as its only a second or two you have nothing to worry about
