Thumbs up Bryan at Pcmforless

I have to tell you, I have been researching this board to find out if it would be benneficial for me to get a pcmforless tune with the few mods that I have. I have read so many posts saying that a mostly stock car would not benefit from a tune. Let me tell you what a bunch of BS that is. I finally decided to do it. I did it by e-mail and used an AKM cable and a laptop and it was such a breeze. Bryan's instructions were so right on, and so was his tuning. My car runs 100% better. Smoother, stronger, and faster. My idle is perfectly smooth now. It was the best 50.00 I've ever spent. to Pcmforless!

how exactly do you install the tune? I'd like to do one after a few more mods, but I'm also getting a cutout, so could I only tune it for the cutout being open?

Bryan e-mails you the files, you basically make a boot disk, boot your lap top computer off of the disk, and it loads the tune up for you...simple as that, granted that you've got the AKM cable

99.00 for the cable at www.akmcables.com. Well worth it. You can also use the cable for a program like freescan to do diagnostics.

All you do is go to www.pcmforless.com and follow the instuctions for self tuning. You pay him the 50.00 and fill out an order form for the tuning program. He e-mails you the program with complete instructions on how to use it. It's real easy. If you need help, let me know.

You can call him and ask him about gear ratio. He is a great guy to deal with and will answer any of your questions.

Just dropped in my stroker with a million mods. I didn't even hear the starter and the engine didn't even turn over. Fired right up on a touch of the ignition. Runs awesome. Brian nailed it right off the bat.
