Buddy just got his VORTECH S TRIM!
I was trying to find some info on these superchargers and some of the results people have gotten from them. I read that on 6psi that a stock 285hp LT1 can gain up to 415hp! Well, his car is stock anymore! It has almost exactly the same mods as I have listed in my sig. How much hp should he expect from this supercharger on 6psi? He should be somewhere around 380 crank hp and about 340 RWHP!

Did he have the heads done?? If so, tell him to be careful because if he raised the compression via milling, his motor probably won't last too long on 6 PSI.
I would venture to say that he'll probably make in the area of 450 at the wheels if the gains are as advertised.

If he got his heads done then I guess around 440 give or take 5. Is it inter/after cooled??? That will make a difference too. But if it's just the mods in your sig with the cam and RR's only I would say 410 maybe a little more if it's tuned right.

Im not 100% sure how blowers are rated but I know with most nitrous kits a 100shot is rated at the wheels. Even if the 130 hp from the blower is crank hp he should still be around 430RWHP on 6psi.

Tell your friend to start saving up for a rebuild if he didn't get the aftercooler with that Vortech. He won't be making 4xx hp for a long time with the stock bottom-end. (Unless he drives like a grandma. )

I have a 6# vortech as you can see in my sig. I can tell with a degree of assurance that you will not make more than 380 to the wheels with 6# on a stock motor. 410-420 with a cam. You are saying 430-440 on a stock motor! jeeze. What happens with a cam on that ****, 500 with stock heads and bottom end? LOL.
