For the cam Id go with the one with the most lift... thats if you are dead set on going with one of those cams. SStrokerAce makes custom cams and has seen 360 rwhp out of stock heads and his cam... doesnt get any better than that.
And the pushrods.. comp is good.
guideplates... ONLY go with the GM version for the LT1.

Re: Building Valvetrain!.. How does she look?
These are not my only options but this is what i came up with after about a month of searching. Not to easy to find a good custom cam. I am actually looking for someone who can help me out and come up with a custom grind cam for me. Ive talked to many different people and places but noone that i am really happy with. Been trying to get a hold of Joe Overton but no luck. Anyone have any suggestions?

I've seen a broken rocker arm stud from two different sets of Comp Cams studs. I'd recommend spending a couple bucks extra for the ARP's.
For the guideplates on an LT1 head you need 8 GM p/n 14011051 These have the correct spacing, unlike the standard SBC guideplates. Your other option is to get Isky adjustable guideplates but that is more work and cost for nothing gained.
Much of the valvetrain is going to depend on what cam you decide on. If you plan on a higher RPM power peak, lighter/stronger components will be preferred. For most mild builds such as yours, the regular $37 hardened pushrods will do just fine but the proper springs and light retainers is great.
Does CMotorsports still offer cam kits? If they do, you can save some bucks and get everything packaged together.
Intended use and tranny used might be a good thing to know when asking for cam recommendations.

I had someone else say the same exact thing. But 3 respected guys said to go with Comp Cams OEM style lifters. As the Comp "R" lifters are hard to adjust. One of them told me they(OEM style) can handle revs at 7500rpm no problem.

and also have you ever thought about the Lloyd elliot packages?

Thanks for checking that out for me man. Yeah ive looked on there but theres a lot of stuff i am buying so heads is not in the budget. Can Lloyd grind me a cam? I been trying to get a hold of Joe Overton but that seems near impossible.
