Kinsler builds a "cross-ram" setup for the SBC.... I'm sure they would be glad to adapt one to the LT1. They do the injection for the C5-R and C6-R engines. Cross-ram is the second row, second from left in the photo below:

Race engine intake systems look sexy, but suck for the street. Years ago I crewed track roadsters running methanol 350 SBCs with the Enderle mechanical FI set-ups as shown in Injuneers post. high 4s at 130s in 8th.

Without doing any research at all, I'm gonna guess that an intake setup like that for an LT1 would cost no less than $5,000, would make no useful power below 5,000rpm, and would idle well above 2,000rpm.

I'm not 100% sure on the power range of an individual runner setup but I would imagine it can be tuned to whatever range you need. The harrop individual runner setup supposedly makes more power everywhere over an LS6 or fast90 intake. its not like a single plane carb style intake.
as for idle, it tames cams. there is a video of a holden monaro in aussieland idling with some huge 24x/24x duration cam on a 106lsa. long periods of valve overlap can't "contaminate" (is it called intake reversion? that sounds familiar) the cylinder next door because no cylinder shares the same plenum space. I'm sure the smarter guys on here can offer a better explanation.

each port has to be individually tuned to get all cylinders to match flow rates. Looked into this a bit when I was looking at a GT40 kit car. Found it to be too expensive compared to just standar FI.
However, no one doubts how sexy it looks.
