burning oil
I'm looking at a 96 z28 for sale around where i live, it has about 80k miles on it and is in great shape overall... ive heard that it burns oil though, im not a real smart when it comes to cars mechanically.. but ive heard that if the engine is burning a good amount of oil it might not be good, the pistons might be going bad or something... anyone have advice?

You heard that that particular car burns oil or LT1s do? No, it's not good if a car burns oil. It could be valves seals or piston rings...
