Burnt spark plug wire?

Ok, these are the signs of my engine. Does this mean I have a burnt wire? I just put headers on it and the Lt1 was running good before the headers.

Pro's- Car starts right up, Idles good, runs good, normal driving is good. Freeway speed is good in 6th gear no shaking.

Con's- If I change to 2nd gear about 1200 rpm's and try to take off pretty fast it seems to shake and sputter until the higher rpms come through. If I take off pretty fast it seems like I don't really have no low end torq but the engine sounds strong.
When I'm on the Freeway going 70 mph and put it in third gear and hit the gas, no power just the rpm's going up slowly. No shaking what so ever.

Also, when in second gear at about 2200 rpm's, the car does shake a tiny bit, but barley noticeable and then goes away.

What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Johnny

It could be a burnt wire. Although, I would think it would change the idle a bit. Since you just put on headers, this very well could be the problem. I don't see how a burnt wire would cause shaking though. The only way to know is to get in there and check.

If it's burnt and he's running on 7 1/2 cyl then the motor will definitly shake under load and wobble the shifter back and forth.

I cracked the porcelian on a sparkplug when i installed headers and thats exactly what it did. A burnt wire should do about the same thing since it's just a misfireing cylinder.

ttt

Any one else have the same problem with a burnt wire. I want to make sure it's it. Or could it be something else.

I'm at work right now and only have about a hour after work to look for the problem before it gets dark.
