Buying TR6 Plugs

Re: Buying TR6 Plugs
Dirt cheap and a little colder for n20 guys.
Ya, I hate how the guy always gives me a stupid look. The dumbass knows where the spark plugs are, and the box says tr6 on the side. How hard is it?

Re: Buying TR6 Plugs
The unfortunate part of it is that most autoparts counter people only know how to read a computer. No longer is there a requirement to actually know anything about cars or even identify a part that you carry in. You give them the make & model, they give you what it says. I've had to ask numerous times for a catalog to look parts up myself.
As for the NGK's, Advance Auto did not have a catalog & no internet access either. I had to go home to look up the stock number. Then they proceeded to tell me I had to drive back in & pay for the parts before they would special order them for me.....
I would not be too sure about the Cobra interchange at all stores either. Most only list the platinum plugs for newer cars that were factory equipped.
The 4177 is a stock number & is the means to identify many parts. Kind of stupid that this number is not shown on a plug..... I now buy 24 at a time so I'm sure to have them on hand.
