A buddy of mine is building his LT1 its going to be a 355. He is going to be running around 12:1 compression with 2.0/1.56 valves. Will be getting his heads ported and polished also. He is not sure which cam he wants to run yet. I think he has narrowed it down to (2) Cams and isn't sure which to run and what springs to run with the cam. Its between the GM847 and this Crane Cam. Link posted below. But he wants to know which cam would be the best to go with. He isn't worried about it being a daily driver or anything like that. He wants to get some good rpm ranges and some good power. Also its in a M6 tranny. If theres anything else yall need to know just let me know. But heres the link to the crane cam.

Ummm, since he is porting and polishing the heads it would be best to get the heads flowed after he is done and have a custom grind made to match the head flow. That would be ideal. Get ahold of Joe Overton and he will hook you up with a wicked can to match your flow #'s

Yea that would be best. But between those two cams which would be the ideal cam to run?

is that crane way too big fora 355 and that head combo? how does the 847 compare to the 306?
