what do you want out of the car? what are your goals and what purpose will the car serve. think about those questions when picking a cam for your lt1

LT4 Hot Cam kit and tunning, that sounds like a good cam for you.

goal for the truck are to match up to the other stuff I got and not throw codes or not work with each other. Other goals, to beat mustakes!

I was thinking the hot cam myself. Are there any other ones on the market that match the specs for cheaper? or do you know the specs and Ill match em up? Where do I get a LT1EDIT for this setup?

You can find others that match the specs of the Hot Cam but if you do the kit I doubt you will find cheaper.
How about a custom grind?
Call some cam companies....(Crane/Comp) & tell them your plans. They might be able to steer you in the right direction. Then compare the cam they suggest to the Hot Cam.

Good Luck

Do you need to be able to pass smog? If so that will limit your selection a little. If the car will be driven daily or if it is just for weekends/fun should also be considerred. Good luck!
