That is for sure. But my main point is, wouldnt guys with automatics normaly do a stall first instead of a cam? Or atleast plan on one in near future if they are installing an aftermarket cam?

converter

I may do a converter while the car is apart. It hurts though, the one in there is brand new with <6k on it. Anyone need a stock converter??? No one is using the speed inc cam huh??? I read a few threads singing its praises, but in a manual car

That's what I did with my bolt ons years back. Added all kinds of parts befrore finally putting the H/C package on. That way the car was ready for the extra HP.
