cam question for the guru's?

I have two cams:
236/240
600/600
107lsa

236/242
580/585
111lsa
my question is which will make more power?

heads, CI, intake, peak power i assume?

i think the first one will make more power, but a little higher in the rpm range

hardly none, nothing noticable anyway......but it would run crappier.

I'd say the first one as well, might make the power a little sooner and give up a little quicker but i'd def. say it'll make a little more. Maybe 5, maybe 10, maybe more. Depends on the rest of your setup and what kind of lobes both cams are ground on.

I would also say it depends on your heads and exactly how aggresive those lobes are. I'm assuming the bottom one is using comp profiles, but I'm not sure about the top.

I dont' see how it has more duration. But being that it's on a 107 it's going to want to make a little more down low but give up a little up top compared to the other cam i would imagine. Or that's usually how things work...

cool, i was just asking. i just figured because it had a little more on the exhaust side and a little more lift it would move the power band. i dont know much about cams and i was trying to learn something
