cam questions
I was looking at some cams for my 96 TA and i came across 2 on ebay for pretty cheap
the first Specs are 218/224 @.050 495/502with 1.5 rockers and 528/535 with 1.6 rockers and LSA 112
the second http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW
what else would i need other than what is included in the aution?
thanks
Chase

Re: cam questions
You'll need what the auction calls the "long pin vented optispark cam", since your car is a '96 and has the vented opti. You'd also want to go with 1.6 RR's to get the full benefit of the cam.
These cams are pretty much copies of GM's "LT1/LT4 hotcam". Try a search for "hotcam" and you'll get all kinds of information and opinion.
Many people like them 'cause they're more powerful than stock, but still tame for the street. Lots of others feel that they're way to mild, and would suggest you go bigger. I went with the Comp Cams 224/230 XE... another popular choice that is a bit bigger than the hotcam.
GM offers an LT1/LT4 hotcam kit that includes roller rockers... check that one out too.
