Yeah, the stockers were getting deep 6'd in this switch, but I didn't know if 1.6rr with the Extreme Energy cam described was going to be too much lift....AND since I didn't know how to check the valvetrain geometry (measurements and such), I just wanted to check.

If 1.6rr were too much, I was going to use 1.5rr

What are the blue racers??

Blue Racers used to be made by Wolverine which was acquired by Crane. The are a lower cost option from Crane and work perfectly well while fitting under the stock valve covers. 1.6 's will be fine as there is PLENTY of piston to valve clearance with a stock setup and 503 cam.
