Cam Time

I was just wondering what you guys think would be the best cam to get for my setup. My car is mostly stock, mods are in my sig. I am looking for the cam that will give me the most power while still functioning as my DD. Thanks a lot.

Before its cam time , its full exhaust, gear, TQ Converter, 1.6 RR's, E-WP, suspension, tune, and tire time.

I've already got an exhaust.....I'm going to get a tune AFTER I swap the cam.....I have no intentions of changing my gears anytime soon because my money can be better spent elsewhere and I'd really prefer to keep my top end speed....I just got new tires that are pretty good for road use which is where my car will be 100% of the time....the only thing on your list that I will be getting soon is a new stall converter and the 1.6 RR's....but the RR's won't come until I get my heads P&P'd

also, an electric water pump is only proven to give a few HP, I'd rather spend the extra 200 bucks and throw nitrous on

Read this:

In addition to the cams that mattbailey mentioned, two other popular "daily driver" cams are the Lingenfelter 211/219 and the Crane 227.

A properly set up nitrous kit will run you more then 200 bucks, something over a grand would be more like it.

....I meant over and above the price and installation of an electric water pump.....nitrous kit, 360 bucks, fpss 40 bucks.....anything else isn't really immediately necessary, so 400 bucks = 100-150 HP...electric water pump 200-300 bucks, so 300 bucks = 3-5 HP.....I know where my money is going
For a gain of just a few HP, an EWP would be a last resort mod to squeeze every last HP out of your engine and to the real wheels, in my opinion.
