cam/tuning question
i have a stock LT1 besides a CAI and i have a slightly bigger cam to put in it (208/221 dur. 474/510 lift) its a GM 385 "Fast Burn" cam. i was wondering if i put that cam in if it would require tuning to run properly and if larger injectors would be needed. i know this cam isnt big at all but i think it will make a little more power out of my engine.

Re: cam/tuning question
That is more commonly known as a ZZ3 or ZZ4 cam. I ran one for a few years in my Caprice and liked it, very nice for a daily driver.
Far as tuning a bone stock car benifits from REAL tuning(not hypercrap), if you are not willing to program the car don't bother modifying it simple as that.

Re: cam/tuning question
if im gonna have to tune it then im just gonna wait and put a big cam in along with injectors, throttle body, fuel pump, ignition box, roller rockers, springs, lifters, and headers all at once then get it dyno tuned...any advice on what good cam to get? i want one that will thump hard and will be driveable also. im looking at comp 502, 503, 305, 306 but dont know what will be best
