Re: Which cam would you run out of these 3?
engine? Hmm i thought i was in the LT1 tech section and i said 3.73's and its a M6 car, and in a post further down i mentioned what i was look for out of the cam.
Mid to low 12's
Idle - doesnt matter
MPG - doesnt matter
Must be somewhat driveable this car is my daily
Must react to a 150shot of nitrous well
and a useable powerband for a daily car ie below 6500rpms.

I just said daily driver in the last post, stock compression, lt1 intake ported to match ported lt1 heads, i mentioned the 3.73's twice now, it will run on 93 octane 99% of its life. And it will also be sprayed with a 150 shot.
And 350cu, i havent touched the bottom end, like i stated earlier. Im building a new engine but its coming along slowly. and even then its only gonna be a forged 355.

I'm assuming it's a stock 350 with stock unported heads and stock injectors as well as stock compression. (since it's a stock engine) He did say 3.73 gears.
Like I already said, I would go for the 227/233 on a 111 or 112 if you want.
I have the 233/239 and I need to shift it at around 67-6800 for best track times in an A4. You can see why on this graph. (sorry about the lame quality)
The 227/233 will make the same or VERY close to the same power as the 233/239 on stock heads but will bring your peak at a lower RPM and give you slightly better driveability. (although mine is VERY driveable except for the loud exhaust)
PS. This car made 5 RWHP/5 RWTQ more during the winter.

Re: Which cam would you run out of these 3?
Im planning on new injectors, and one day ill install the new fuel pump as well and the heads will be ported stock lt1s.
The 227/233 is definently gonna be what i go with, so long as Rich says it will work with nitrous.

The 227/233 with a 112LSA and a 108ICL will work with the nos(don't turn it on until 3000RPM's) and stock compression, ported heads with 2.0" valves, and stock intake.
My preference would be 224/228 an a 112LSA and 108ICL 580-586 lift.Crower makes one and it should put you at 11.9-12.0's on motor in a 3600LB car with 4.10's and a stick. It makes peak power at 6200 and will pull to 67-6800 with good street manner's.

Re: Which cam would you run out of these 3?
Thanks racer dude, ill have to talk to them about a cam with those specs, and im guessing i should stay with a 112lsa or higher for nitrous as ive always heard. Thanks for your help guys, now i atleast have some ideas before i call them.
